Once you arrive in Cincinnati, there are multiple ways to get to Music Hall:

BIKING

If you would like to ride a bike to Music Hall, Cincinnati has just the option for you!

CINCY RED BIKE.  A red bike can be rented for $8.  The bike is good for 24 hours but you do need to dock it at a red bike station every 60 minutes.

Luckily, there are red bike stations right outside of the Garfield Suites (at Vine and 8th), the Westin (on fountain square) and in Washington Park (directly east of Music Hall).
Check out this website for more information on how it works!

WALKING

If you plan on walking to Music Hall, the most direct walking directions from our two recomended hotels are listed below:

From The Westin Cincinnati: walk west on 5th street (towards Vine Street), turn right on Elm street and walk 0.6 miles.  Music Hall will be on your left.

From the Garfield Suites Hotel: walk west on Garfield Place (toward Doerr Alley), turn right on Elm Street and walk 0.4 miles.  Music Hall will be on your left.

DrivE YOURSELF

If you plan to drive to Music Hall, we encourage everyone to park in the Washington Park Garage, underneath Washington Park which is directly East of Music Hall.

Findlay Market is the state's oldest continuously operated public market.

The market is located in Cincinnati's Over the Rhine neighborhood at 1801 Race Street.

The market is open Tuesday-Saturday and is home to about two dozen merchants selling meat, fish, poultry, produce, flowers, cheese, deli and ethnic foods.

Explore THE
RIVERFRONT

Cincinnati's riverfront is home to many newly-renovated parks.

Take a stroll down by the river in Smale Park to see the decorative fountains, beautiful gardens, playgrounds, event lawns and restaurants that line the Ohio River.

Downtown Cincinnati has no shortage of restaurant options but we've included a few of our favorites here for your convieneince.

We've groups them by the area of downtown that they reside in:

On the
Riverfront

The Moerlein Lager House
Delicious (Cincinnati-brewed) Beer.  Fantastic food selection. Reservations can be made on opentable.com.

The Yard House
Over 100 Beers on Tap.  Large American-fare menu selection.

Central Downtown

Nada
Contemporarty Mexican Food. Sparkling Sangria (Maureen's favorite).  Reservations can be made on opentable.

Nicholosons
English Pub Style Food.  Menu constantly changes, but we've never been disappointed :) Reservations can be made on opentable.

Added plus - this is where Tom & Mo went on their first date, and where they have celebrated their anniversary every year since :)

Graeters -
Cincinnati's most famous ice cream shop, proudly serving irresistable ice cream since 1870.  If you're visiting Cincinnati, you definitely don't want to miss Graeters.  The central location can be found right on Fountain Square!

over-the-rhine*
(OTR)

Senate - Gormet Hotdogs.  No explanation needed.

Bakersfield - Tacos.  Chips & Guac.  Maragaritas.
A Tavola - Hand made, wood fired Neopolitan pizza.  Craft  beer & cocktails.

The Eagle - American Fare, focused on delicious fried chicken.

The Lackman - Great Beer Selection.  Hang out here while you wait for a restaurant to call you!

*Disclaimer:  The OTR restaurant options are phenomenal, but are very popular in Cincinnati right now.  Since none of these restaurants take reservations (and aren't big enough for you to wait on the premises for a table), when you walk in they will all take your phone number and give you an estimated wait time.  We will often grab a drink at the Lackman while we wait!

Due to the popularity, we try to visit these restaurants at "off-hours" to avoid long wait times.
