Childhood Friend - Friends for 23 Years

Heidi and Maureen have been best friends for over 23 years.  The two lived down the street from one another and started their friendship as walking buddies to kindergarden.  Inseparable growing up, the two earned the nickname "Heidreen."  Heidi and Maureen remain best friends to this day, even though they went to different Big Ten Schools and live in different states.  Heidi now lives in Royal Oak, MI with her husband, Doug, and works for the State of Michigan Police Department as a forensic scienctist.

College Roommate - Friends for 11 Years

Liza and Maureen met 11 years ago when they lived down the hall from one another at U of I's Busey-Evans dorm.  Maureen truly lucked out when Liza made the executive decision that they would live together for the remainder of college, and Maureen gained the world's been roomie and a lifelong friend.  Liza now works as a social worker in Madison, WI where she lived with her husband, Erik, and their puppy, Odin.

Childhood Friend - Friends for 22 Years

Katie and Maureen inadvertantly became friends in the 1st grade.  Maureen was home from school with the chicken pox and Katie befriended Maureen's best bud, Heidi.  Upon returning to school the three girls remainded close.  Maureen and Katie both attended the University of Illinois and share an intense love of Illini basketball.  Katie is giving into her extreme love of the Pacific Northwest and works as a nurse in Washington state.

Childhood Friend - Friends for 27 Years

The story Maureen's mom loves to tell is that when Maureen was only a few weeks old, she was walking Maureen in a stroller through the park when Catie's siblings ran up to her, looked into the stroller and exclaimed, "we have one that looks JUST like that at home!"  This statement became a running joke because growing up Maureen and Catie were often mistaken for one another, and the two often used this to their advantage.  Maureen could not have asked for a better partner in crime than Catie.  Catie now works as a social worker and lives in Madison, Wisconsin with her hubby, Timmy, and their adorable kitten.

Cincinnati Friend - Friends for 7 Years

Beth was Maureen's first friend in Cincinnati.  The two met when Maureen was in Cincinnati for her final interview with P&G.  Long story short, the airline lost Maureen's bag and Beth saved the day by taking Maureen to Target and picking up some essentials for her (toothpaste, deodorant, etc) so that she could survive her interview the following day!  When Maureen started at P&G Beth worked just down the hall, the two bonded over a mutual love of Taco Bell, and have been friends ever since!  Beth now works as a Global Claims Specialist at Kao Brands, USA, in Cincinnati Ohio where she lives with her husband, Casey, and their fur-babies, King and Tank.

College Friend - Friends for 9 Years

Monica and Maureen met through mutual friends during Maureen's junior year of college.  One fantastic Unofficial St. Patrick's Day later, the two were fast friends.  Monica and Maureen bonded over a mutual love/hate relationship with running, quoting the movie Anchorman, and Illini sports.  Monica now works as a dental hygenist in Catlin, Illinois where she lives with her husband, Bobby, and their two beautiful children.

Groomsmen

Brother of the Groom - Friends for 26 Years

Scott and Tom have been brothers for the past 26 years (funny how that works!) but have become extremely close over the past few years.  While very much alike, Scott is (unfortunately) the non-ginger of the Heis boys.  Scott spends his free time perfecting his sarcasm and playing the awkward game as often as possible.  Scott lives in Cincinnati with his girlfriend, Samantha, and spends his working hours split between Christ Hospital and Tri-State Cores.

High School Friend - Friends for 11 Years

Matt and Tom became friends during senior trip after high school graduation. Since then, they have lived together, traveled together and have perpetually played sports together. Matt currently lives in Cincinnati with his fiance, Amy, and works as a grocery manager at Kroger.

Childhood Friend - Friends for 23 Years

Jason and Tom have been friends since meeting in the first grade. The quintessential "brother from another mother," Jason was born only a day before Tom and their mothers even share the same name. Jason currently works at Cincinnati Bell as a CAD Drafter and lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Kim, their two adorable children and two beloved fur-babies.

Brother of the Bride & Friend of the Groom - Friends for 4 Years

Adam and Tom met 4 years ago at a Cubs vs. Reds game at GABP.  Adam and Tom enjoy distancing themselves from the rest of the DuBois Family by thinking that snowboarding is better than skiing.  On the other hand, Adam makes Tom feel very much a part of the family by always greeting him with an Adam-style extreme hug.  Adam currently works for Grainger as a finance manager in Chicago, IL.

High School Friend - Friends for 11 Years

Jason and Tom became friends senior year of high school. Brought together by the inappropriate musings of Mr. Focht in math class, they quickly became friends. Today they share a mutual love for Cincinnati sports and keep the right side of the softball infield locked down. Jason currently works in Cincinnati at Paycor and lives with his wife, Ashley, and their two beautiful children.

High School Friend -  Friends for 12 Years

Jason (yes another one) and Tom met each other through Jason Burns and became friends early in high school. Playing soccer, softball and bowling together, the two have spent plenty of time together over the last decade. Jason currently works in Cincinnati at Great American Insurance and lives with his wife, Jes, their 4 (!) children and their 2 dogs.
